UPDATE!

I planned to speak to my principal this morning before school, but she was at a meeting.
So, I left on my field trip to the beach. While we were there a parent who's child was in my class 2 years ago, and I know very well, approached another teacher who is a good friend of mine and told her she had been hearing rumors about me being pregnant, and wanted to know if I was, and if not, if she should tell me about the rumors. My friend Tracy played along and said no, and not to tell me about the rumors because I'd think people thought I was fat.
When Tracy told me this, I said that I'd rather people talk about me to my face, and not behind my back, so I told all of the parents on the trip, who were so excited for me. It made me so glad I chose to share the news with them first!

Back at school I told my principal that my 'cat' was out of the bag, and she was happy for me, because I wouldn't have to sneak around any more, and basically said it was tough luck for anyone who had a problem with me and my life.

I am so HAPPY that this is all out in the open now!!!!

I haven't confronted her yet. I was out of school on my trip, so I didn't see her at all today.
Tomorrow is the big show down.

Well, I decided not to mention it. She's really a bit on the flakey side, and I am realizing that she told her class out of excitement and happiness for me. She's not a mean spirited person, and watching her at work yesterday reminded me of that. Since the parents all reacted favorably SO FAR, I'm inclined to forgive and forget.
I don't want to make her feel bad.

Tonight at my principal's party SHE appologized to me! I was surprised and happy. As I suspected, she really thought it would be okay, and was excited for me.

She's still getting my rotten kid, though.
