I am sooo excited -- we are getting our house re-sided and a new roof. Right now our house is white with black shutters and brick. It is a 2 story colonial. I am stuck -- Please vote for your favorite siding color! There is only one other house like ours on the street and it is tan w/ green shutters.. Thanks!
I should add that my style is very country/colonial.....

I like the taupe colored siding with burgandy shutters, I'm not a big fan of gray. What color will your new roof be? Congrats!!!

Our new roof is a dark greyish /black -- Its kinda two tone -- so I want to stick with something that matches it .

We have the grey, but our shutters are a darker blue. It was all the builder offered at the time. I always wanted to slate blue though. The white and black is nice too. Our next door neighbors have that. HAve you thought about a light tan?

It is soo exciting, isn't it? What kind of siding did you select?
The color choice was a difficult one and we changed our mind the day before we booked with our guy. What we did is went and looked at references from our vendors who had similar work done and it helped us decide. We originally wanted wicker (light tan) with a brown roof and changed to clay (brownish/tanish/grayish color) with a blackish gray roof.
I voted for grey with burgundy. But burgundy is my favorite color so that may be a personal bias!

Re: Please vote: I need color help!!!
I LOVE the idea of a red door - I would like our door to be red, so I voted for White w/Black and a red door. But, I'm actually not a fan of white, b/c in my mind it is difficult to keep clean.
Let us know what you decide!

I'm having a hard time visualizing the colors you posted.
I've seen this done, but do you like yellow, this is just a suggestion....how about a yellow/pale yellow with blue shutters?

Re: Please vote: I need color help!!!
Elle - Thank you.
I would drive around a new development and get a look at what the colors look like.
Personally I don't like the tan with green or red, since everyone is doing that now.
I ahd to ahve a blue roof, it was the only thing I was set on, and we worked the rest around that. I really wanted Blue siding, Blue roof and Blue shutters, but I think it wold be too much.
I am a blue freak!!!

Re: Please vote: I need color help!!!
I HAD to vote for white, black shutters and a red door b/c that's what we did! Everyone comments us on the colors and how nice and different it looks. We also have a colonial and the color combo makes it look so cozy and like an old colonial would have looked like. I will post a pic later when I figure out how to resize it right.
