PLEASE -- where can I find shoes?

Original post by BlondeJD

I'm so frustrated with my shoe shopping experience. I found a pair at Nine West Bridal that I thought would be okay but they were really uncomfortable so I returned them. I've gone to DSW in Carle Place and they didn't even have bridal shoes. I went to Nordstroms and Macy's with the same results.

I can't buy shoes online either because I've had ankle issues, so I need to make sure the shoes don't bend my foot the wrong way. Is there anywhere I can go where there is a large selection of bridal shoes to try on?

Thanks

Try LMS in Carle Place/ Bridal Boutique in Carle Place/ After Five in Port Washington (it's small, but great help and nice bridal selection/ Stuart Weitzman/ Jildor.

Hope this helps alittle bit!

Stuart Weitzman has awesome shoes b/c they are sooo comfortable. (And trust me b/c i have horribly weak ankles and always have a hard time finding shoes.) The Shoe Box has a great selection. There is one in Manhasset on Northern BLVD (miracle mile) and then the other store is a couple of miles up on Northern BLVD in Wheatly Plaza. I think there is also one in Plainview (can't think of the street is is on, but i know it is in the Trader Joe's Shopping center). Got my shoes there for my E-Party. Great selection, especially on Bridal Shoes!

Did you try the bridal shoe store on Old Country Road in Mineola? It has a fairly large selection of styles and it's close by? Carle Place DSW has some, but usually only 4 or 5 styles in a corner of the dressy shoe section.

I bought mine at Varone's Shoes in Sayville. FM me if you want info about them.

I got mine at Payless and they are so comfortable. I wouldn't say they are the most beautiful shoes but they have a thick heel which makes them so easy to wear. And really, who sees them anyhow.

I found mine at Sandy's Shoes on Sunrise Highway in Massapequa.
