Please...I need a favor...With regards to your INLAWS

Reading Beth's post reminded me of the time that FH's parents were at some random wedding and there was some woman who calimed to be a psychic there, and they showed her a picture of me and they said 'oh, she's gonna levae your son in a second for her ex', and they had the nerve to come home and repeat that to both f us AND tell them whole family...

the, YEARS later, FSIL found an online jounral of mine, took somethings completely out of context and ascertained that I was cheating on FH. She sent what she felt to be relevent snippets of my posts to the ENTIRE family (parents, cousins, grandparents, aunts, uncles) word got around, etc, and FH and I were the last to know. FFIL and FMIL were on vacation in florida and they called from there like 'J is cheating on you.' and he's like 'umm, no she isn't'. and they were like 'well, she has this online diary', thinking that they were going to chock him and he's like 'i know. I've read it' . it was so ridiculous. They just fully BLIEVE this hearsay BS and spread it aroung. the BEST part is that FSIL claims that she did it all out of concern for her brother. If that were really true wouldn't she tell HIM, and NOT the whole frigging family? UGH

THANK YOU. She proved how dumb she was when she did that in front of an entire room of women. She got us a utensil organizer thingie for the drawer cause its purple ok but we have been living here for months and already have one. Along with Ice Cube trays and other usless crap that is sitting in the pile for our garage sale!

Oh...I wasn't trying to be shady! I do have a nice relationship with my FH's family. I love them all (for the most part) very dearly. They've all been very good to me (us) over the years and naturally I appreciate it...I'm closer to some more than others, but I suppose that's inevitable...Anyway...Lately, it seems there is some tension...I'm not sure if it's just pre-wedding tensions or just some kind of permanent change in behavior (which would upset me greatly) Anyway...It just got me thinking about others and others' relationships with in-laws, and how others deal with them...That's all...Mainly I was wondering if the problems people have with their in-laws were always there of if they developed over time or as a result of the marriage...But the path this thread took was very interesting...I appreicate all the honest feed-back...Thanks to everyone for sharing and also those who FM'ed me...
