PLEASE...Place for photos

Hi everyone. I'm getting married in a church and our hall isn't the best place for picture. Can anyone suggest a park or a garden on Long Island that comes out beautiful for pictures? We don't mind paying a small site fee. I live in Nassau but if I have to travel to Suffolk (15 to 20 minutes past massapequa), not a big deal. Please let me know any outdoor or indoor ideas. Thanks!

Argyle Park in Babylon or the property in East Islip (I can't believe I can't remember the name right now!!!) I'll get back to you on this!

Old Westbury Gardens are GORGEOUS, but expensive, about $500. We're doing ours at the Planting Fields in Oyster Bay, fee is only $120 and it's still really pretty. I posted about this recently, let me find it and I'll post the link...

EATA: Peggie's right, I forgot we were looking into a later time to take pictures, and we had more than the max 20 people, so we would have been paying more $$. Cost depends on time of day, earlier is less expensive. Seriously gorgeous there...

I recommend Old Westbury Gardens also, the fee depends on the time slot that you would need. I took my pictures there and do not regret it at all-worth the money

I have to agree with Peggie.

Their grounds are gorgeous and very well maintained.

And they do have indoor capabilities if it rains ... a MANSION!!! Check my review for pics .... it didn't rain for our day, but it was cold & getting dark very quickly.

If you go to a park, there usually is no place to go take pics inside if it rains.
