My BM's and I are going shopping this weekend for BM dresses. I have one BM who is plus size (over size 16)..
If you have/had a plus size BM, what dress designers did you go with, and what dresses/fabrics/designers looked most flattering.
I'm looking for suggestions!

I would check out David's Bridal. That is where I got all of our dresses because most of the Bridal Party was plus size. They had a lot to choose from and you could actually try on your size not a size that was 4 sizes to small!!!!

Yes, I found David's Bridal to be LOADED with bigger sizes - more so than the tiny sizes even
Alfred Angelo and Bill L have plus sizes, but most likely not in the boutiques I'd imagine.

pretty much any designer can get a plus size dress. I am plus sized and have had no problems in any of the weddings that I have been in

i decided to go with jim hjelm...eventhough all the models in that website look anorexic. some of those dresses could look great on a plus size bridesmaid. i'm also letting my girls pick their own style of dress in the same color, that way they can decide what looks flattering on their bodies.

I agree!! I had 2 BM's over the size 16 and the dresses were so flattering on them!!
One of them is my FSIL, she's the second from the left!
Alfred Angleo and also David's Bridal are great places to look- I was a BM in my friends wedding and we went to David's - also she is now my MoH and we went to David's for her.
Alfred Angleo also has some really nice BM dresses.
