My calves are kinda thick.... I could probably get away with zipping up a pair of mid shin-knee high boots but not with anything under them.. which kinda defeats the purpose.
Who has a suggestion ( besides Lane Bryant) on where I can find cute, good quality boots that will fit my beefy legs?! I wanna try them on first so I dun wanna order online.

Try Avenue they usually have stretch high boots that fit.

Also try wearing them with stockings or tights. That usually helps think your calves out a little.
And some boots can be stretched. Talk to a shoe maker about that.

DSW.com just added a category for wide calf boots to their website. There are always online coupons/deals too!

Re: Plus size girls...boots?
So I went to DSW Thursdayand they only had TWO pairs of boots in wide calf and neither had my size.
I'm getting whiny I want sexy black boots! I have a dress that's begging for them! GAH!
Boots that 'fit wider calves' are BS by the way. Apparently, it has to say 'Wide calf boot' Theres a difference.
The last time I bought boots I got them at Payless... the only place I could find that fit... I wanted a nice quality pair, but maybe I'll have to settle for Payless again.
Anyone else have suggestions? Any department stores have them?
