I have a wedding next weekend, and then a wedding on 10/18 and I need to find new dresses for them. These are friends of FH and all the same people are going to be at the 2 weddings. I really hate going to Estelle's, but if I have to I will. Where else do they sell plus size dresses??

I second Macy's. Dress Barn sometimes has some nice dresses too.
If you have the time/desire to order online - Igigi and Kiyonna have great dresses.

Thanks...I live all the way out east, but I think I am just going to have to suck it up and go to Roosevelt Field. I never thought of Nordstroms...thanks!!

I've gotten beautiful dresses at Fashion Bug. They don't always have a large selection, but the dresses are both pretty and comfortable. The prices are reasonable too. Sizes I've seen on the racks range from numbers (12, 14, 16, etc to 32) and XL-5X.
I'm wearing one of their dresses to a family event this weekend, blue layer underneath w/ a black burnout design on top. Same dress I wore to a friend's wedding last November (pic in my album).

macys in roosevelt field is pretty good. they have a decent selection. also try bloomingdales, lane bryant (not sure how dressy you want to get)

See, I'm not really sure HOW dressy to get. The wedding is up in Middletown. I know the couple spent a pretty penny on the wedding, but I don't know much about the location. I was thinking a black tea length dress. Can't go wrong with that for a Saturday night wedding, right?

I found a few dresses at Dress Barn Woman (I was quite surprised actually too). they were inexpensive and nice.

Laura check out Dress Barn. You have to look through sometimes to find the right dress. I have found sexy dresses for the last two weddings fh & I went to !! Bothe were under $50 !!!!

Macy's has a good selection. I went to the one in Roosevelt Field as well.
