Does anybody know how much the gowns and bridesmaid dresses run for? I saw a really cute melissa sweet short bridesmaid dress but dont want to go to the city if they are too much? the gowns are really nice too.

I have a POB gown and it was right around $3500, there are some much more and some around the $2500 marker.
The BM dresses I have seen are around $190 -$250
The Bridal Salon in Manhassett carried POB, I think both gowns and dresses. I bought my dress at Saks and the service was fantastic and they gave me 10% off for opening a credit card.

i called the store in manhasset and they told me they only carry the wedding dresses- NOT the BM dresses- I lOVE the POB tea length dresses and I'm desperately tring to find them on Long Island and its impossible- but on bride.com it said their about $150-$200 for mose of the BM dresses

Carina boutique in whitestone, queens has them... and the prices include alterations...cannot be beat

When I went to Thomas Knoell he mentioned that there was a POB store somewhere pretty close to his store...........

i just found my BM's dresses there, we went to the POB on 40th street. There is also a location in Roslyn.
I'll post a pick of the dress, it was $238, with 15% off, so $200ish...
They have a POB store in Manhasset I believe. I saw some there for BMs that were around $200.

When I went with snowcutie82 to try on dresses, they had BM dresses- thats when I saw some I had considered for my BM's. This was probably last october maybe...

I'm confused about why you think you can't get them on LI. There is a POB in Roslyn that only sells POB, Melissa Sweet and Vineyard Collection. I got my gown (Melissa Sweet) and my BM dresses (POB there). The BM dresses were $250 and gown was $3400 before alterations and tax.

They don't only sell POB, Melissa Sweet and Vineyard for bridesmaid dresses. I know they also have Watters dresses because I got one there for my brother's wedding. They have a pretty wide variety of BM dresses there.
