Pocket Fold invitations----I waited too long

Hi ladies;
I have been undecided about the invitations for quite some time now, so that is the reason I waited. I am begining to stress and my wedding is in about 41/2 months. I will like to send the invitations in the next three weeks.
I knew I wanted simple but elegant invitations and also wanted the pocket fold because it makes them look classier and different (not that the rest aren't---but it is just my taste). I had been searching on this site and have fallen in love with some of the ones posted by some of you (DYI). I knew that is what I wanted, but I am not crafty at all, so I knew that was out of the question. I only need about 90 to 100 invitations, so I figure it should not bee so difficult ...well....I was wrong As I was checking the prices, I almost became sick. I am so frustated
So, to make a long story short.....I contacted the print shop Director at the company I work for, and he is willing to print the invitations an inserts for free. The administrative assistant at our offices will help me with the design. Actually, as a matter of fact...... I will make the initial design and then she will add stuff for me. Again, keep in mind that I am not looking for anything complicated....I am just doing simple, but classy My colors are ivory, black and sage green for accent.

So, I know Paper presentations in the city (close to my office) sell the pocketfold I want, but their price is $15 per set of 10. Do you think that is OK or should I check another place If so, where do you recommend I look?
I know I want the metalic/shimmery one and I also will be buying the cardstock for invitation and inserts.

Please recommend where I can buy such for a better price

Good point.....I am sorry, I forgot to include ....I will like to send some invitations out in three weeks because I have people from out of town attending the wedding (Germany, Egypt, Italy, Florida, PA, Puerto Rico), and they have to make early arrangements to prepare for such. As far as local people, I will like to send the invite two 1/2 months before the wedding. We did not send STD's : (

Thanks for the comment or otherwise I would not have noticed

Go in their website and they tell you everything : )
You can get the pocketfold, the invitation mat (which is the layer paper behind the invitation---if you choose), inserts, and invitations. All of them are pre-cut to size and all you have to do is print them.

I'm not sure where you live but the place in selden where we got our invitations (Classic Favors and Invitations) had our pocketfolds done in 4 days. Even if it does take a week send them out the following Monday. 2 days shouldnt make much of a difference. If you need more info FM me. HTH and good luck!

I was quoted 4.50 for the one that I wanted ... but I think I will DIY because I want colors they didn't have.

i only ordered the pocketfolds themselves...i custom made everything else myself (i am a graphic artist)...but they have pre-cut stuff you can buy that goes with the different sized envelopes...

Re: Pocket Fold invitations----I waited too long

well first i'll say that at paper presentation when you buy a certain amount you get a discount. I bought LOTS of cardstock on monday and bought the stardream cardstock that is about $14 for 25 sheets, i bought about 8-10 packs and since i bought that many they gave me a discount. I think its actually if you buy 4 or more packs. I am sure for pocketfolds its the same deal so see how much they would give it to you for.
