Re: Pocket Invitations

the pocketfold? I am thinking about it, making the pocketfolds myself and stuff. There are some girls on here who have had them, look on the DIY board for some pictures.

I think I am gonna go with pocket invitations. Here is a site to get an idea of a couple of styles.

Re: Pocket Invitations

We did Encore pocketfolds. We love them, but they were a little on the pricey side.

Re: Pocket Invitations

I actually purchased the pocketfold and backing layer (red paper) from Paper Presentation . The invites themselves were from Invitations by Dawn. I also asked them to send me larger inner and outer envelopes (measure the pocketfold) which was included in the price of the invites. I used glue dots to hold everything together. I printed the inner and outer envelopes myself. I don't remember the cost of each, but it was definitely cheaper than buying them already assembled.

Re: Pocket Invitations

I forgot to say that you can also print the invites yourself if you want. I originally ordered all parts of my pocketfold invites and assembled them myself. Unfortunately, we needed more and so I printed the actual invite, response card, and reception card myself on my computer. You can purchase the response cards in a bundle of 50 at Target (where I got mine) or at Staples. Just use MS Word and set the page to the proper size. It wasn't the exact replica of what I ordered, but it looked very similar.

Re: Pocket Invitations

Oh yes, I used pocketfolds 6x9 and used Invitations and Beyond (vendor here). They cost me a fortune!, but my mother received so many calls saying they were the most beautiful invitations they ever received. Let me know if I can help you with any info.

Re: Pocket Invitations

I just think they look so classy and I feel nothing is more annoying than when you have different part of the invitation in the envelope - nice it is all together! Thanks for your help! I am going to check out the sight :)

Re: Pocket Invitations

I just received my pockets, envelopes and aqua cardstock. I ordered the pieces from invitesbyyou.com (owned by www.notfromabox.com) For 80 pockets, cardstcok and envelopes, I spent $175 (s/h & tax). I will be printing the invites themselves on heave white card stcok. FM for more info.
