pocketfold invitation question?

If you are doing pocketfolds, should you still have an 'inner envelope'? Is the inner envelope an
'etiquette' thing?
TIA

for my pocketfold invites and many others i've seen (both online and on liw) the pocketfold IS the inner envelope.

i used pocketfolds and had not planned on using and inner envelope.. had not PLANNED on it.. however,, with the rhinestone buckle closure that i used i wound up having to get an inner and outer envelope.. because it poked through.. so i could tell that by the time those invites made it through the rough handling of the usps, it'd wind up arriving with holes in them..

but i don't htink it's necessary..

I am not using an inner envelope with my pocketfold. I just didn't think it was necessary.

i did a paper bellyband around the pocketfold & put the guest's name on that...(i wanted to reiterate who was invited and that kids were not) pics in DIY album

i opted out of a inner envelope. It would of been too many layers of things to open and I found rather annoying and unnecessary.
