Wow. I was actually googling poems for my mom last night...didnt find anything yet though.

What about this? It's more a letter than a poem-

Dear Mom
Thank you for all of your wonderful gifts,
The sweet, invisible kind,
Like the gentle reassuring words
That ease a troubled mind.
And the vote of confidence you give
in the face of doubts and fears;
The way you have of turning thoughts
to laughter instead of tears.
These gifts are more priceless than pure gold,
God bless you for them a thousand fold.

and how you cared for me.
You gave me love and tenderness
and taught me who to be.

You watched me grow and learn

Supporting me in all I do
Yet allowing me to be free.

The love I have for you
No words could ever say.
You've made me everything I am
And I'm thankful every day.
