Poets... Help a girl out?

Poets... Help a girl out?

Our placecard holders are these cute little guys:

At the last family wedding, some people were a little confused about whether they should take the placecard holders or not.

I would like a poem to let them know that the butterfly is theirs to keep, and would love some ideas! Just something short, I would put it right in the middle on a larger piece of paper so they could see it.

Something like, let your butterfly guide you to your seat... blah blah blah blah something that rhymes with seat...

I'm really bad at this, as you can tell!

Any suggestions would be wonderful!!

Okay. . . first, I love your placecard holders. . . they are very happy and springy feeling. . . perfect for a June wedding (Congrats!!)

Now. . . this is kind of just off the top of my head . . .but how about something like this:

Let this butterfly guide you to your seat,
Then happily keep it as our treat.
Reminding you forever of this special day
And how your presence was cherished in every way.

Well?

Awwww . . . Thanks. . . I just called my FH and told him of my apparant poetic success His response? 'You were on that site again?!' Ah men. . . they just don't get it. . . unfortunately it rings a bit true. . . I spend all my time on here living vicariously through all of you. . . and I tend to be more interested in how all of you are doing and remaining clueless half the time of what I am doing about my own wedding I am such a procrastinator. . .I only just got out the last of my invitations today I am beginning to think that I may be on a one way path to imminent disaster ladies. . . so please be ready with the advice and cry packs. . . procrastination=bad, bad, bad! Maybe someone could think up a feel better poem for when that time comes?
