But isnt she Polish? Whay would she want to learn Polish if she already knows it...you mean you're looking for English lessons for her that are being instructed by Polish-speaking instructors?

Yes - she's polish but was born and raised here. So her mom wants her to speak Polish properly. She speaks it but it's not prefect and she doesn't practice it enough since she has only American friends. She usually goes to Poland for the summer but doesn't want to this year. So she's coming to stay with us and my MIL really wants to find a Polish class for to take - maybe in Greenpoint.

Got ya. I would contact St. Stan's Church Parish or other community parishes and ask if they have a Polish School Summer Camp or something like that. But honestly, there will not be many people in her age group...if anything these kids are trying to learn english and associate with english speaking kids. But try. HTH![]()
