Does anyone know of a good silver polish, and the best method to do it? I am using the kiddush cups from my parents and sisters weddings, and both desparately need polishing.

YES!!!!!
You can get it at the hardhare store, it is called 'town and country' it comes in a tin and has several individually wrapped polishing clothes with silver polish in them. You can cut them in half. Be sure to put any opened packages into a ziplock to keep polish from drying out.
Best stuff ever, it comes with gloves too!
