FH-flowers, photography/video...

we are paying for our honeymoon ourselves...

My Mom/Dad and FILs each gave us a certain amount of money and told us to figure out what to use it for. It comes out like this:

My parents money is covering: RH, flowers, my dress. My Mom also decided that she would help the BMs with their dresses and has said she may get us a videographer above and beyond what she already gave us. She is also paying for the shower. Basically I love my parents and they are awesome.

My FIL's money is covering: part of the band, part of the photog, ceremony and rehersal dinner. FMIL also splurged and gave me an expensive veil as a gift.

Me and FH will be paying for: part of the band, part of the photog, cocktail hour musicc, our rings, the limos, hair/makeup, attendant gifts, gifts to each other and parents, favors, my accessories and shoes, tuxes and all the other little things that come up along the way.

We are paying for everything. Actually, my kids are the ones paying since they will be going without movies, bowling, vacations and decent xmas gifts until next year.

RH will be a BBQ at my house. 'Catered' by Costco (Yum Kirkland burgers)

FH's parents are paying for our limos, RD and they gave my parents as much as they could afford to put toward the reception.

my parents are paying about half the expenses..they are paying for the hall, flowers and my dress and accessories..fh family is helping with honeymoon

Everyone covered 1/3 of the price. If we went over the budget we would have paid the difference.

It kinda remains to be seen exactly what everyone is paying for, but FH's parents are paying for RD, my mom threw an engagement party and FMIL gave a nice monetary gift towards the wedding. My guess is we will be covering most of it though.

our eparty both our parents are splitting...

my parents paid for the 3000 deposit on the RH for the wedding...they are paying for my dress for the bridal shower and contributing maybe 5000 more also depending on how much everything comes to....

his parents gave us the down payment for the dj and the limos which came to about 2500 and they will prob contribute about another 5000 probably

and then everything else is on me and my fh...

My parents are paying for everything. FH's parents contributed a VERY small amount to the wedding but they will also pay for the RD and the brunch sunday morning,.... but this wedding is costing my parents more than they could have ever imagined and FH's parents either don't care or have no idea- either way they will be shocked when they get there!! They frustrate me!!! They have been taking cruises and going on non-stop vacations- when if they would even give us the $$ from one weekend getaway to Florida it would help so much!!! They just don't get it!!!

My mom came up with the idea of everyone pitching in $5K.

Mom & Dad - $10K for the RH (my parents are divorced)

FH Mom: $5K that I need to try to split up for DJ, Photos & Flowers - this is why I want that cheap a** package from Ariana Studios that includes everything in the entire world for like $4K even limos and flowers- yet I'm afraid they aren't quality. UGH! I wish someone on here could tell me they're an awesome vendor and that the package rocks!

FH Mom: Pre-wedding (aka rehersal) Dinner

We are paying for: Overpriced honeymoon.

I am paying for: Dress and everything that goes with it, invites, favors, hair/makeup, limos, STD and everything else I've forgotten.
