Poll: Am I confused or is this normal?

Poll: Am I confused or is this normal?

I'm more worried about the weather during our Honeymoon than the wedding itself.

I just want that week to be relaxation and fun not dashing to my rental car in the pouring rain.

Is it just me?

I am more worried about the day of the wedding because I want to take pictures and have the ceremony outside. I am pretty sure that September is always nice in Hawaii so I am not really worried about that.

it was yucky most of my wedding day and I hardly noticed aside from wanting some outdoor pictures...which we got when the sun came out!

It rained for 5 minutes on our HM...and the morning we left, and that was just a drizzle!!!

I'm definitley more concerned aboutthe wedding day. My ceremony and CH are supposed to be outside, so rain would really change things. We'll be in MExico for 2 weeks, so if it rains one day, I won't really mind. Plus rainy days are the perfect excuse to stay in and be lazy. Well not that lazy.

I have to pick? I want it to be beautiful all the time!

I wold prefer if it wans't rainign on the way to the church & from teh church to teh reception, b/c I do't wnat to wreck my dress & giant veil.
Once we are inside, who cares.

Even if my coctail hour is moved indors, I'm ok with that.
As for teh honeymon, I'm going on a cruise, so we can always stay on the boat & if its too nasty, but I'd rather go to all teh islands.
I'm am jsut hoping its not major, flight cancelling, course changing kinda weather for the honeymoon.

That would be worse , I think.
I picked some of the honeymoon.
But if there had to be some rain, it would be nice if it could be a little during the reception & a little on the cruise, but at night.

I'm definitely more concerned with the day of the wedding. This is so lame, but I would be really bummed if I had frizzy hair on my wedding day!!

Plus, we are going white water rafting and kayaking for our HM, so I fully expect to get wet.

My feeling - you can't control it so don't worry. I can understand the worry though - especially if you're having any portion of the wedding outside. I already told my DJ that if it rains on the wedding day I want him to play songs about the rain so that we remember to lighten up about it. As far as the honeymoon - we're going to Cabo in September - that should say it all right there. Whatever happens - happens!

I guess it depends on what the plans for your wedding day are, if you want to do anything outside, then that might not happen...I just want to take some pics outside..

I would love to have beautiful weather everyday on my HM

I am hoping that it at least stays nice so that I can take pictures in the park after the ceremony - then it can rain all it wants since we will be inside for the reception.

As for the honeymoon, I would prefer it be nice the whole time but like someone else said, you cant control that so what can you do!!?!?!

I voted for the whole honeymoon because I feel like we can always take pictures inside and we will be inside for the reception and CH but on the honeymoon we want to be doing outside things like sightseeing, the beach, etc. I would be miserable if it rained.

For me it is the day of the wedding. I am getting married outside and need good weather that day. I want nice weather for the honeymoon , but if it rains the whole time I still know that there will be plenty of um, 'activities' to choose.

I can't control the weather so in the end it was not important to me at all.

We have an indoors wedding and lots of places indoors for photos So that doesnt bother me.

Im an outdoorsie kinda gal though. I get a week off of work, I want to go out!!! (I have enough energy for both! )

I only said day of wedding because our ceremony is outdoors (and not at the hall where we could easily just go inside).

If we were getting married somewhere indoors, I don't think I would care all that much what the weather was on the wedding day.

And based on our HM, we'll be ok, rain or shine (as long as I don't get another sinus infection from being drenched during the entire trip when we got engaged).

Once my ceremony and CH are over and the party moves inside...I really don't care if it pours for the rest of the night.

I'd hate to be on a beautiful caribbean island and have it rain everyday.

I try not to think about the weather...it will just drive you crazy and there's nothing you can do about it, but hope for the best!

I agree with Ang&Rich, what ever happens happens, one thing we can all agree on is that none of us can control the weather...so don't stress it ....
