How many of you have your fancy wedding gown, but will be changing into either another fancy wedding gown, or another gown (could be because of a religious ceremony), or maybe just a more comfortable gown/dress, during your wedding? I'm actually considering this....

Re: POLL: Are you changing at your wedding?
i am we're having an after party and I just actually posted my second dress a few minutes ago - it's much simpler
i might - not sure, ill have something and will decide that night.....if i do change, it will be into something short and sexy for dancing - FH would really love to see me in the party dress - like I said, I have it already but wont decide for sure until that night - there is the chance I won't want to part with my wedding gown

Re: POLL: Are you changing at your wedding?
I bought a dress (long, was going to go with short but fell in love with it) it is the black & white one in my album. I don't know if i will change or not but i wanted to have the option. If i don't it is a dress i can wear again to something else.

I didn't change and I am glad I didn't--I hated leaving the party for 5 minutes to go to the bathroom and fix my bustle, let alone leaving to change! Also I think I would really have regretted it if I weren't wearing my wedding dress during all the key moments of my night, including leaving....and DH taking it off! It's a special dress for a special night, and there was no way I wanted to take it off!

its so true, DH wanted me to go to the bridal suite with him bc we had to look for the zantac and i was annoyed having to leave the party for even a few minutes
when i got to the hotel that night at around 3am i remained in my dress for another hour, i didnt want to take it off

Re: POLL: Are you changing at your wedding?
i brought another gown for later on in the reception, i wanted a big poofy dress and im barely 100 lbs so my dress is very very heavy for me, so ill change out of it somewhere in the middle of the reception , the other dress was very cheap, only $180 and i love it pics are in my album, its very simple

I'm not changing out of my dress. I look for MONTHS and MONTHS for this dress, as it is I only get to wear it for approximately 12 hours... so I'll let FH have the honor of removing it.

SOO true! This is the only day that you get to wear a wedding dress. Im going to keep mine on the whole night. My friends and I joke around that we are going to wear it on the plane to our honeymoon!!
