i have already changed some gals - some folks just arent cut out for wedding stuff i find - doesnt make them any less my friends just cant have them in the party

i would change almost them all if i could.People's true colors shine through when you need them to be there for u

All of my BM have been wonderful so far. I consider myself VERY LUCKY after some of the stories I heard on here

I love all the girls in my wedding. The only problem is that I have 7 BM. I really wanted to keep it small....but I have so many close friends and they just all assumed that they would be in it. I didnt have the heart to tell any of them no. So....there went the idea of a small bridal party. It's alot of extra money to have them...but I wouldn't want it any other way.

ME TOO!!! don't get me wrong, i love all my girls, i'm just not as close to some like i used to be.. well, one girl in particular.. we really don't talk much.. But i love her

I added someone I KNOW will be a big supporter to make up for the lack of support everywhere else..well really just one of them, I love her, shes an old friend, but we are different people and not close like we were, I find myself wasting too much time worrying about how she wont be there for me, how she doesnt call and how she may (shes a drinker) cause a scene at wedding...the BM thing is tough!

I have a small bridal party and they have been so great to me. I really am very lucky to have them

You have lots of support

I dropped one of my BM's. I tried being understanding that she was completely uninterested in my wedding, i tried talking to her numerous times (everytime she said she would change), I gave her 1 month to go get measured for her dress...she kept blowing it off. Finally i told the bridal shop to send the order without her. Our friendship has alwyas revolved around her 'needs' this time it couldn't and i wouldn't. THings are much better now. LESS STRESS

I am very happy with my BM's ... they are all basically relatives though - 3 first cousins, 2 second cousins, 1 I call a cousin who's good friends with the family and 1 FSIL. They are wonderful ladies and very supportive.

I know I definately rushed in to choosing two of my BM. I wish I just kept it at four instead of six.

I felt the same way... If I could do it over, I wouldn't have rushed in choosing my BM's and waited ... So far 2 girls are OUT! So now I am down to 5 BM and my MOH. FH still has all the guys, so there will be an uneven #, but we will partner two girls up with 2 guys each. Oh well, you live and learn.

I feel lucky, because I love all of my girls and I wouldn't change anything.

Mostly, yes. They are also all my cousins with whom I am very close. Most of them aren't very helpful or even very enthusiastic about the wedding but I love them anyway. I did have to let one go though (it was mutual) because of pregnancy and issues surrounding the pregnancy.

I love them. I can not say enough good things about them. Lets just say with out them this weddign would have never come to be. Here is a list of things they have done for me just to give you a clue of how great they are.

1. they came with me to all of my meetings with vendors ( they even checked out some vendors for me on there own to see if i would like them)
2. put my invites together for me.
3. addressed my invites ( then reopened them because i messed up)
4. they are painting my favors,and wrapping them
5. planning my bridal shower, and 2 bach. parties.
6. helped me find my dress.
7. put up with me (Bride-zilla) even at 3:00am
8. been there for me through everything
9.They even talked to my FMIL and told her to mellow out on me a little.
They are my biggest fans and i love them soooo very much. I would not be where i am today with out them.

2 of mine have been better than I could have hoped for... one of mine backed out 29 days before the wedding VIA VOICE MAIL!!!!!!!! I could have done without her!!! But shes been replaced so all is well!!

My bridesmaids are fantastic. They are super supportive and are totally going out of their way to give me the ultimate 'bride-to-be' experience. I feel very blessed to have them in my life.
