POLL -- Are you one of the first, right in the middle.. or one of the last of your group of freinds to get married?

Original post by OctGroom

I'm right in the middle.

Seems like FW and I were one of the first couples to get engaged..

but so many of the other couples are getting to the altar before us.

It's OK.. we're very patient and it's hard to get us to move anyhow.

And we wanna plan our wedding just right!

We were probably the first of DH's friends...
And we were in the middle as for my friends.

Other...
We had a wave of about 7 weddings end of 2000 and 2001.
We got engaged March 2003, booked our wedding for Oct 1 2004. 2 of of friends got engaged July 2003, then set their wedding dates for Aug 8 and Sept 3 2004. They cut us.. but at least they were each a month apart. Then recently, another friend got engaged and set their date 6 days before us. I am not really sure what to say about that. --kelly

In my hubbys group of friends he's probably also close to last.

I would have to say right in the middle. We both have some friends who are married and some who are not. Though we are 'older' than most of our friends who have gotten married before us (I'll be a week from 29 and he's 31). Most of the friends who are married already got married around 23-24.

From my friends, I was one of the last and from cousins/family, I was in the middle leaning towards the lead.

High school friends- the very last (and at this point they ALL have kids too!)

College- one friend left.

Family- I am the oldest of three but my brothers are both married.

Cousins- I am third oldest (out of us on my dad's side), and the last to get married.

You have no idea how happy I was to go to Fortunoff to finally register, instead of buy a gift for someone else

Considering I'm not yet engaged and the last of my friends got married on Saturday...I would officially like to proclaim that I am the LAST one!!!
