POLL -- Are you one of the first, right in the middle.. or one of the last of your group of freinds to get married?

I'm right in the middle.

Seems like FW and I were one of the first couples to get engaged..

but so many of the other couples are getting to the altar before us.

It's OK.. we're very patient and it's hard to get us to move anyhow.

And we wanna plan our wedding just right!

THE first...by far...very few of my firneds are even in serious relationships. I know one girl from college who got married, but she's not really part of my circle of friends.

i hear you.. before we knew it 3 of my FW's closest friends were engaged.. one of my cousin's and one of my best friends.

it's been contagious this year....

My FW was very nervous about marraige. She didn't want to talk about it at all.. then all of a sudden a friend of hers got engaged.. she was holding the ring for the groom.. and I think with all of this.. the excitement.. the surprise.. I think she started getting ideas in her head!!!

I'm one of the last. Only one of my BMs wasn't married. I would have been the last (and I wanted to be!) but that same BM broke off her engagement, so she'll be the last. FH was the last person of his generation in his family to get married.

We all got married together! I voted in the middle since our wedding was the mid-point of 7 weddings in 2002 among all our friends.

I would say towards the end...but not the last. Many of my friends got married a 1-2 years ahead of us..so we weren't far behind but we certainly weren't last either...I had about 10 weddings in the year and a half since mine (but amny of those were new friends and co-workers)....I had about 21+ (no exaggeration) in the 3 years before mine....

THE ABSOLUTE LAST!!!

My HS friends have been married for 4-10 years. At least the same with DH's friends except for one who got married last fall - his Happy Hour pal.

Absolute first I have never even been to a wedding, and I will be 26 this month! All of my friends are so into work now that they aren't even seriously dating, and his friends are still in the hooking up stage!

I'm probably the last of my friends to get hitched now, but I don't really think of it as being 'last' ... hard to explain. In my late teens thru my mid 20s I was in very serious, long term, living together relationship that everyone figured would lead to marriage .. so I was out of commission. This was when all my friends were totally single and partying all the time. Then of course I became single and by that point they were all getting married!!

As for FH, he's probably the first of his closeer friends to get hitched .. but the last of his brothers and cousins..

Of my close friends from HS four of us are getting or have gotten married this year. It is pretty strange. I voted as other, because we all seem in a dead tie!!! But I guess it would really be middle, because a couple got married two years ago, and one got married last year.
