we had our own ride
I really want to rent a car for FH and I to drive in - but then he would have to drive and he doesn't want to. So we'll see. It's either we rent a car or go by ourselves - prob in a town car.
im riding with dad and my girls and then the limo will pick up the men

With the BP... in all the weddings I've been in, it's always more fun when the BP is with the bride and groom after all is said and done... the excitement in the limo is amazing and it gets you so excited for the reception and all the partying!
we have a rolls and an escalade for the BP
i waanna do our own 2 seater, thats prob the only alone time i will have wuth him the whole day....he can get over himself..hell see everyone when we get back to the hall..hes beat!!!
We haven't booked anything yet, but I have a feeling we will be in the car with the bridal party. I thought about doing the lil car for us, but we're going to end up going straight from the church to Woodbury (which is about a 45 minute to hour ride). So I figured why not get in the car with everyone and start the party. We picked these people because they are the closest to us, so why not be with them after one of the most special moments in the day. I plan on FH and I grabbing a moment alone about 20 minutes before cocktail hour is over!

Now imagine the family fights that would start if we could actually kick out the people that are cranky or complaining or we don't want around.... hahaha
Fortunately I can say that I like everyone on his side, and I think I can say the same for him. My parents will be with us (i think) and they actually party more than I do, so it should be fun. I totally read what you were saying about the pointless chatter, and was always for the well the car will be our first moments alone as husband and wife. But the more I think about it. The more I am so excited to actually be with everyone, laughing, joking and having a good time.

nah i love his side too - we have been together for over nine years so we are both really part of each others families at this point!
my cousin did a party bus and we ALL had a great time in it - she said if she had to do it all over again she would have gotten a bigger bus to fit more people! lol that was a lot of fun. . .
what REALLY turned me off was just one little comment that my mom made after my brother's wedding - the limo door hadn't even CLOSED yet and she said 'well i thought my SON would be walking me down the aisle not some random groomsmen' and the followed it with a laugh. ( this is how it is done in italy the groom walks down with his mother ) it was like the first comment made and TOTALLY 100% ruined the moment. . . i dont want to chance anyone ( MOST LIKELY my mom - doing that to me ) LOL
def. getting a party bus with the BP..we did this for my girlfriends wedding and had a freaking blast!!!!! We also have a nice chunk of time between the ceremony and the reception.. so why not party it up a bit. besides we will be stopping to take pics once i find a place.. so the BP would have to follow us anyway.. it'll save us the money of having to get 2 limos.. or worrying about who in the BP doesnt have a car, cant drive cause they are drinking..etc. But i totally get having that time alone too.. i just figure we can hang out in the bridal suite alone for awhile when we get to the RH!!
FH and I are riding is a rolls together.
Just with FH we got a rolls and the BP has an escalade
