I prefer a DJ.. I feel like if you are going to hire a band you really have to go all out and hire the best (and the best costs lots of $$). I also like to hear the original songs and I feel like a DJ is more versatile.

Both FH and I prefer a DJ even though we love live music. So we hired a DJ, and have a steel drummer for CH and a vocalist for dinner. We are very happy and saved tons

Originally we thought we were going to get a DJ...but we changed our minds!! We're going to get a band! It's def more expensive than a DJ, but we feel as though it is worth it. We only get to have a wedding once so we're splurging a little.
