i voted dj bc thats what we booked.

im curious as to what the 'other' option constitutes??

and what would one do with 'none'?? just have the sound of the chatter and glass clanking???

If you want techno or reggaeton or some type of real dance music like FH & I want, definetly go with a DJ because a band just cannot do that lol

I prefer a band...if they are good. I've been to some weddings that had awful bands and it ruined the wedding. DJ is the safer bet, but we went with a band

I prefer a DJ because I like to hear the orig. songs and not a bands version of the song. Thats just me.

If you get the right band, then band definitely. Bands are trained musicians so they understand the beat of music and what gets people dancing. A great DJ can do the same, but bands really get people on the dance floor.

My band was amazing. My wedding was the only wedding I have ever been to, and I have been at least 25, where people were dancing before the appetizer was even served. The dance floor was packed from beginning to end.

We got a band, we just the having live musicians and the interaction from the band with the guests.

i would have gotten a band if i could have afforded one! But we are getting a DJ with a live percussionist. I guess the best of both worlds

I voted for DJ. Sometimes I'd rather hear the real song and not a band's rendition or interpretation of songs.

Also, DJs are a lot cheaper and saving $$ is always good!
