Well.. you know.. the Yankees weren't too good from '63- '76.. then again from about '87- '93.. so that's about 25 bad years.

I know you weren't born yet for those '60's NYY teams. Neither was I. I'm going on pure stats/records to be honest.

But you're still root for the Yanks anyway.

Oh I hear ya, OctG... I totally respect your loyalty to your teams. I wasn't putting YOU down at all... I admire you. Besides, all teams have their ups and downs and you have to stick with them thru it all if you are a true fan such as yourself. I was just noticing that unfortunately, most of your teams have hit some tough times these days

He!! yeah I have always been and always will be a Yankee fan... I can remember the 80s well and it really wasn't pretty. I'll love 'em no matter how badly they might begin sucking down the road .. or maybe even sooner than that
