Totally and completely stolen from the 09'ers! I LOVE the idea! Anyone interested??? We will alternate who choses the book each month. I would just join theirs but I JUST started reading Eat, Pray, Love and would love for that to be the book this month!

It is a great idea. I said no for now just because I already read that. I read alot and am sometimes choosey about what i read (just cant get into murder mystery) If you want a recommendation my favorite book of all time (also good for a bookclub) is The Other Bolyn (sp?) Girl by Philippe Gregory

I just finished Double Cross. Can't wait for the next one! He doesn't write fast enough!

I'm pretty particular wth the books I read and don't like certain types of books so I don't know if I would be part of it.

I'd love to, but with lesson plans, tons of grading and spring semster starting soon (I'm taking 3 Grad classes!!!! ), I will be lucky if I have enough time to shower, let alone read lol

i would love to, but i can be picky about books. plus i have like 10 unread books collecting dust on my bookcase. i'm reading alexandra, the last tsarina right now, and i'm trudging my way through the last 60 or so pages. i have no idea what to read next. i have john connolley's The Book of Lost Things, and it looks really good, so that'll probably be next.

i used to belong to a book club and i loved it...i read as much as i can...i actually bought eat, pray, love for my sister for christmas, she is currently reading it and said so far its great...i am looking forward to reading it next...i am in the middle of the memory keeper's daughter...and FYI...it is very good too
