Hi ladies - quick question: is your FH's bout going to match the rest of the groomsmen or is his going to be different? TIA!
UPDATE: Great - thank you all so much! My FH was seriously putting off this decision, so I just kept forwarding him the link to the post every time someone added to it. By Friday night he had finally made a decision about what we're going to do. Thank you all so, soooo much for your input!

If I go with real flowers, FH will be wearing red rose and the groomsmen will be wearing ivory roses.

I really like the shell idea so the GM's will have small ones and he will hopefully have a bigger shell
DH and the gms had mini callas, but dh's was white and the gms were picasso mini callas (white w/ purple centers)

Well DH's Bot was supposed to match my BoK!!!!!! His was a white rose and the best man's was purple. Somehow he ended up with the purple rose and the best man got the white. At first I thought the florist messed up, but then I found out it was the photographer who pinned the Bots on them and they didn't notice.
It's kind of annoying but not really a big deal in the end, we're still happily married regardless!!
ETS: Sorry, I read the post wrong!! But it still kind of applies. So they were all supposed to have roses; DH in white, the best man in purple, and the GM in lilac to match the BMs.

just an FYI. . .
you should have 2 boutonnieres for your DF/DH, especially if you are taking pictures after the ceremony. he'll be hugging and kissing a lot of people and the boutonniere will not hold up.

FH's will be different. He will be wearing a mini-mango calla lilly to match one of the flowers in my bouquet and the groomsmen will be wearing black magic roses.

ditto. i carried lavendar roses & plum calla lillies---and his bout was 1 calla lilly and 1 lavendar rose. i thought it looked great.

It will be different. FH is wearing a mini calla lily to match the callas in my bouquet. The GMs are wearing white roses with blue delphinium. I think the dads are wearing the same as the GMs, possibly no blue delphinium... have to double check.

I had pink roses for my flowers---GM had mini pink roses for this bouts (BM had an array of pink flowers with some pink roses) and DH had a white rose (so we did it kind of backwards )but wanted it that way....
