the hotel where we'll be staying along with some of our guests offers a breakfast included with the room- that's as close as we're getting. we literally don't have an extra cent to host anything other than the wedding.
i just wanted to mention that of all the weddings that i've been to only one had a morning after brunch. i don't think its an expectation that you must have one.

Hopefully our house will be finished with construction by june of 08.
We are hoping to invite everyone back to our house, we are doing a huge extension so it will be very large to accomodate everyon. we will have a catering company come in, set up, serve our guests and we will come downstairs to greet everyone from our bedroom upstairs!

Our RH had breakfast for us the next morning for everyone who stayed overnight and it was so great everyone was talking about what an awesome time they had and all that. I definatly suggest doing it if you can

We're having a big brunch on Sunday only b/c we're not doing a rehearsal dinner. It's going to be at the Hotel where we blocked rooms. Plus, it's Mother's Day the next day.

same... but i don't know how to feel about it. on one hand, i know that it's a nice sent off for our guests, but on the other, i'd like some alone time with my FH. we're not taking a honeymoon until a month after the wedding, just taking off for a day or two (we both work in schools and want to wait until after summer vacation starts). but i'm sure it'll be nice.

The immediate family & BP [most of them] showed up at the Inn at Fox Hollow for brunch. Not everyone who was supposed to show up, showed up. But me and DH also were the only ones to stay at the hotel [which is a good thing] lol. Then we went back to my moms to open 'gifts' Not everyone has one. To some people, its just extra $ that they dont need to spend. My cousin, back in 2003, I had one, it was for anyone coming to the wedding, but you would have had to stay all the way out east in a hotel for brunch. she got married at gorgios [baiting hollow, i think, dont remember!] she still had a huge turnout, and her in laws paid for it! HTH!

Yes!!! Having a beautiful brunch at the hotel we are all staying at (Hyatt Wind Watch) the morning after for my entire bridal party and close family/guests!
I am excited...there will be an omelette station and a waiter passing around mimosas!! It's like a continuation!!

We hosted a brunch for our immediate family, bridal party members and OOT guests. We held it at the same hotel where our OOT guests stayed - the Holiday Inn in Plainview.

My IL's did this at their house for OOT guests (basically my entire family) and family. It was SO nice and even tho people wanted to get on the road, almost everyone was there for at least a few hours. It allowed us to spend more time with our guests and was really nice
