We wanted to have it at the hotel where we had our reception and a lot of our guests were staying but, it didn't work out.

Yes. We are having it at the hotel where the guests and us are staying the night of the wedding.

We're not doing it. Most of our OOT guests will want to get on the road -- and so do we! We're leaving for our honeymoon that afternoon.

I think after all the stress of the wedding and long day the day before, we'd like a quieter, much more intimate first full day as husband and wife.

I think a brunch is a really nice idea if it's in your budget and you want to do it. I've never been to a wedding with one the next day, but my parents have and said it was a lovely touch. It's just not for us and won't work logistically either.

We're having it at the Hilton, which is the hotel that we blocked rooms at.

Re: POLL: Brunch the morning after?

our wedding is the day before thanksgiving so we are hosting a buffet style thanksgiving dinner the day after at FIL's house (but hosted by my mom) for all the oot guests/anyone who wants to come join us.

breakfast is included at the hotels if the guests want it.

we all ate in the hotel resturant but everybody came at different times. It was easier that way for us

I hope that we do this. Just with immediate family though. I think it will be more of an impromptu thing our families will just go out to breakfast the next morning.

my parents are hosting it for out of town people at the li marriot where everyone is staying for the weekend, me and my groom will prob not attend due to going on our honeymoon but they are making the brunch there so it will be easier for people who are not renting a car

we were going to have brunch at the hotel the next morning but since breakfast is free....that's good enough for me.

Re: POLL: Brunch the morning after?

Our hotel is letting us buy breakfast vouchers to give out at the hotel.

They have a small dinning room, so everyone can get breakfast when they want, and we will all run into each other in the morning.

Plus we only pay for the vouchers that were used.

I thought it was a great idea when the hotel suggested it.
