FH and I are having a hard time making a decision about our HM. We would be going in the summer. I feel like this HM is our one time to splurge and go somewhere that is far. We want to start having children right away, so once we have kids, I know major vacations will be limited. (Lol, I keep calling it 'my last hurrah'). Which should we pick? We priced out both and they are very close in price for what we want. They both have their pros- on the Med. cruise, we are young and have the energy to go from place to place and see a lot. Bora Bora is far away and will probably not get the chance to visit it for a long time.

They both sound great however you can do a cruise anytime.. Bora Bora is a vacation that you want to go with FH alone.. no kids there LoL! I vote Bora Bora!

omg i totally agree with the other girls - BORA BORA!!! this was my top choice since it is such a once in a lifetime place...not sure it will be feasible financially, but i really hope we can figure it out - it's GORGEOUS there

We just went on a Meditteranean cruise in May of this year just as a vacation. We spent 4 days in Barcelona and then the 7 day cruise and on the way back 1 night in Amsterdam. While the cruise was AMAZING, I remember saying to FH I cant imagine doing this for our HM. It was just way too exausting! We literaly ran around each city on a tour and it took a lot out of us. We met a couple there on the HM and they said the same thing. How it was supposed to be baby making time, but they were just so exhausted at the end of the day.
After planning a wedding for a year, all I want to do is lay on a beach with my husband and not have anything planned. So.....we are going to Bora Bora for our hm!

My brother did a tour of Italy for his HM and he said the same thing, it was exhausting and they wish they had more relaxation time. Esp after planning a wedding!
