Poll: Cosmetic Surgery - would you be honest?

You (people) should be discreet about it or just be upfront and honest about it if you've had it?

For example, if you got your boobs done, would you admit it, maybe even be a little open about it or would you try and play it off like you've always had them??

Does the type of surgery you (theoretically) had matter? For example, you would be honest about a boob job but not about having a facelift?

Or would you outright lie about having had it? ('No I've never had any work done!')

I think that it is nobodys business but your own.
IF someone asked...i think i would be honest, because nothing i would do would cause me any embarassment in admitting.

EX. i would LOVE to get a boob job...HELL I WOULD TELL EVERYONE, since i think it would be an obvious change to the people who know me

i would really love a nose job or a boob lift, maybe both. i really don't want bigger boobs, they just need a little somethin', you know. as far as the nose, i feel like its too big for my face, but everyone tells me i'm nuts. these are what i would like to have done, but i don't think i ever will

not b/c i'm ashamed, just b/c i could find better uses for the extra $$, if i had it. a house for example

Well, I had a boob job about 8 yrs ago. I have had people ask me if they are 'real' and I am honest about it. I remember once being at dinner with a couple and the woman kept going on and on about how awful and shallow women who get boob jobs must be. Finally, after listening to her rant on for about 20 min. I simply said 'I don't think I am a shallow person and I have had it done. Actually, I find it shallow that someone would make such a judgement.' After her jaw hit the floor she started back peddling as fast as possible.

I would definitely be honest - I wouldnt go around telling everyone, but if they asked, what is the big deal. Especially if I got a boob job, I would have to be honest (everyone would be able to figure it out anyway if I went from an A to like a C!)

Plus I'm am just horrible at lying, so why even try?

i would be honest about it if someone asked, i don't think anything is wrong with it and no reason to be ashamed. i had a nose job last summer, and everyone i know obviously knows i had it done, and i dont care one bit. best decision i ever made and i dont care who knows.

Yea I would be honest- who cares! I dont know why people have to make such big deals about it, like that woman saying its shallow! Its the same thing as going to the gym if you really look at it- you go to the gym to feel good- some do it for health reasons but most do it to look good and stay in shape and feel good about yourself- so is plastic surgery- when the time comes and my boobs start to sag you better believe I'd be running in there! and botox when Im in my 40's why not?

I would definitely be honest about it, besides I did have a boob job for instance people would definitely notice the difference, so either way I couldn't lie about it.

I want a few things done but I am just too chicken!!!! I have to close my eyes during the surgery portion of Dr. 90210 & I want a famous face!

I had my boobs done, and I am not ashamed at all! I dont think its fair to say that someone is shallow for having plastic surgery, nobody has to live in your skin but you. I was unhappy with my boobs for as long as I remember, I waited until I was sure I wouldnt grow anymore, had the money and the time and I did it.

You would think that people would notice right away if they went from an A to a C, but to tell you the truth, unless you are wearing a low cut shirt with a push up bra, you cant even tell. Clothes 'swallow them up'. Real breasts of the same size look bigger in regular clothing than fake ones do, believe it or not.

And I dont think there really is a way you could lie to an intimate partner about having them..you could definitly feel the difference, especially with saline implants.

I would never hide anything I believed in - I've had surgery and speak to others about it. If I ever had a boob job, I wouldn't lie about it but I also wouldn't be wipping them out to show people!
