POLL: Did you or will you write the names on the...

inside envelope? The last 2 weddings we were invited to the brides did not put our names on the inside envelope and I was hoping I wouldn't have to either but I don't want to be improper.....Thanks!

I put them on the inside. Looked more elegant to me that way.

I'm having them write the names on the inner envelope. I'm getting charged $1 for the outside envelope and 50cents for the inner. It was worth it I think it makes it more complete looking.

I didn't yet - but I am going to. I prefer it hen I recieve a wedding invitation to see my name on the inside envelope.

I did! I'd followed the invitation instructions as I'm having a traditional formal style wedding. I used Avery clear labels for both inner and outer envelopes to be meticious and organized. It makes the receiver of the invite feel special to see their name printed on an envelope.

To each their own, personal choice.

I think you should...the outside envelope is to the address...but the inside should state who is invited...

I didn't. I also received 2 thisyear without & it didn't 'bother' me.

I am writing the names on the inside. I guess it doesnt really matter...I just always receive invites this way.
