Something REALLY strange happened to me today and I am freaked out about it. It;s probably nothing, but one of my kids in my class became VERY upset and was screeaming this information (I don't know if I even want to get into this) that he couldn't have possibly heard, seen, etc. He was so upset- shaking, crying and screaming while covering his ears and closing his eyes. We called down the psych. and she was able to finally calm him down, and when she did, he went on like nothing happened. I talked to his mother and she was shocked to hear what he said. She said that there was no way he had heard anything like this etc. No movies like this, adult talk etc... Then she tells me that he has blurted out things before that have come true!
note: this child is autistic and talks VERY little and is 6 years old.
OK~ just needed some opinions..... I am FREAKING!

not only do I believe in it, but everyone thinks I have it. On 9/11/01 I told my Fi(@ the time) at 8:20am in our car that I thought buildings in the city with tunnels underneath were going to collapse. I've had other things happen through life too, but that was the most extreme & horrifying.

oh my God!!! richsbride, my hair just stood on end...that is totally spooky....i remember waking up that morning and calling my parents (who were in new orleans on vacation) to be very careful that day - i'd had a bad dream....but what you felt is extraordinary...

I believe also.
Once my mother and sister were staying at my place and were out late. I woke up with this weird feeling - they came home a couple of hours later - They were in a big car accident (thankfully they weren't hurt!).

WOW this is spooky... I believe in ESP too. My mom knew my grandfather passed away even before family in Ecuador did. He was in Ecuador and we were here. She opened the front door and a black cat was sitting looking right at her. There are no cats on our block except for the house on the adjacent block who is grey and white. She freaked and started crying, hysterically. My dad calls our family and tells them to call the hospital my mom is going nuts... My grandfather had passed away 5 minutes earlier.

I absolutely believe in ESP, in the fact that relatives that have passed away are still looking out for us, all of that. Kelly4, can you forum mail me, I'm curious, thanks.

i used to work with children with autism. He might have picked it up from somewere. Maybe overhearing it from someone. Some times the things they say are strange, but may hear something and just perseverate on that.

I have had many autistic children in my classes also, and I do agree. What made this one different is the way he looked and acted while this was going on. Too strange! I can't explain it. It is freaking me out less now that it's been a day, but I am still going to be cautious. You never know! I am not saying that this will come true or not, but it just really got to me!
