As a spin off from the Bachelor threads, and all the talk about Trista and her 'little girly' voice, I was curious about how many of us use our little girl voices with our DHs/FIs??

I'll post. You really don't have my answer up there. My answer would just be no. DH likes my voice the way it is and I hate it when women do that little cutesy baby voice. I don't think it's demeaning, just not something I would do, nor that I like listening to. It's just too whiny.
Edited for everything..spelling, grammar, punctuation. I will blame the flu drugs I am taking!!

OK, I'll write what I answered. No, I don't use a 'little girl voice' - I get my way without it. Seriously though, I find 'little girl voices' extremely irritating.

hrmm I said no. I don't have a little girl voice.
I have my own language made up of sounds.
Oddly enough after 3 years he has it down. We've had small conversations in public with our own language so others won't know what we're saying. Sad isnt it?
It's only a mix of particular sounds and certain emphasis. It works tho.

Hee hee, Not most of the time, but sometimes I do to get my way (and that was my vote)and he likes it
I think only other women are annoyed at that darn little girl voice, but the men always seem to fall into the trap

I said FREQUENTLY but not because I am Trista-like or because he likes it/is turned on!! We both use baby voices often (as a matter of fact we said platamypus way before Jess - putting 'm''s where they don't belong is part of our thing) but I think it's because we talk to our dogs soooooo much & that's how we talk to them. Often it spills over to our conversations!!!

but I do have a voice that I do with my (deaf)cat and dog...

I do not... my voice to me doesn't seem very lady like to begin with, so for me to put on a 'little girls' voice will just make me sound totally ridiculous! I am not the most girly of girls

I do sometimes, but not in front of others. it annoys me to see other girls do it, so only in the privacy of my own home.

Nope, never. I don't think I ever even had a little girl voice that I could use if I wanted to.
