Whatever happens happens! We are not planning on it but if it happens so be it. FH really would rather wait to have children where me on the other hand want to have children within 6 mos of us being married. I just feel my biological clock is ticking. I guess because I am older than him. But I respect him if he wants to wait a bit. We will see.

I wouldn't mind getting pregs right away. I'm 31 and FH will 40 in a few weeks, so I'd rather not wait too long.

We talked about it before we knew we'd be having a baby before the wedding...

I wouldn't be upset if it happened. I would rather plan my pregnancy for May. This would mean less time away from work (I'm a teacher).

I voted NO WAY! FH will already have his hands full supporting me while i am in grad school. the last thing we need is another mouth to feed. I wanna wait about 2 years after the wedding. wanna get used to married life first.

I hear ya on that one...Same here just last week and I don't want to wait too long but then I have to still go back to school and get my masters this year so, I am not tenured at school and I think my head is in the clouds that that would all work out. Maybe in a couple of years?

Update: Fh says he wants to wait a couple months after we get back from the honeymoon before I go off birth control to start trying. I would never dream of deceiving him so if that is what he wants then it is fine.

That would be a big whoppin NO way......as much as we both want kids there is no way we are going to be able to afford one right away....besides I want to be able to get used to living with my FH before having any other additions thrown into the mix. This is going to be the first time I'm really stepping out on my own. Want to get more independent and establish my self with my husband before any thing else!!

If someone buys us a house as a wedding gift then sure...LOL. We need a house first, we already have a 7 y/o daughter and besides I'm a baby nurse so I get my baby thrill at work right now. We are thinking about adopting a dog right after getting married, so he'll be our honeymoon dog I guess!

Same here. FH has been supporting his mom for a number of years now and he'll also be supporting me while I'm in grad school. If I could help it, I'd like to have my first around 3 years after we tie the knot.
