Poll - Do you wash your underwear...

after you buy them and before you wear them. My DH and I were shopping yesterday and my husband brought up the question of 'do you wash your underwear after you buy them and before you wear them.' Be honest, girls. He is curious. :) He told me to ask you girls, he finally realizes that LIWEDDINGS is the SOURCE for valueable information! :

I always do and my DH thinks I'm crazy.
Easy for him to say...his come in a wrapped up package.

YES!! The thought of not washing them first skeeves me out so bad However, I wear new clothes before washing them, they never look as good as they do off the rack.

Ok, well being that I asked this question, I should be honest here as well. I have never washed them. I take the tags off and throw in the draw. I am appalled at myself right now. I guess I never really thought about other people trying them on!!!

The topic never came up for me to stop and think about it. I hope by conducting this poll, we all think about this!

but sheets come prepackaged and sanitary

would you all wash shirts and pants too?

Who tries on underwear before they buy it??? Bras yes...but underwear??? I have never heard of that before...

Sheets need to be washed before using them...they are too stiff to out on the bed. Towels need to be softened also!

Honestly, I don't know that I do. But, I can't remember the last time I bought undies that weren't in a package - I'm a mostly hanes/jocky kind of girl.
Actually, I did buy 2 from Victoria's Secret for the wedding and I do believe I washed them first.

I have to say - I have never seen a woman take panties into the dressing room with them. Most people know what size they wear. I know I never try them on. And if they do try it on, I would hope they treat them like a bathing suit - keep your current panties on please!

id say your probibly safe if your buying your undies from target. but if your going to a specialty store

That's funny, DH and I had that conversation last week as well when he bought new underwear. I asked him if he was going to wash it before he wore it and he looked at me like I was nuts!!! Come to think of it, I am not sure if he washed them or not!
