POll; Does everyone have a soul mate?

Do you think everyone has someone out there for them? This isn't so much about whether you think there's ONE person you can lvoe or many, but more do you believe that there IS someone out there for everyone? Did you ever fear you woudld never find someone to love? Do you think there are peple who go through life lonely, never finding 'the one?'

But imo..yes there is someone out there for everyone...many people. I do not believe in ONE SOULMATE.
I believe that if the possibility of love is out there for everyone to take.
Do i think it is hard for some people..yes. I know people who think that Mr.Right should just plop himself at her doorway. IMO that ain't goign to happen...You have to get out there, mingle, be social, meet people...
If someone is goign to go to work and come home..nope they will be lonely...unless they try the internet.
I also think the people who try to find love toooo hard....wait the longest. I think it happens when you least expect it.

indeed i do believe in soulmates...

i can't picture going on in life without my DW. We hardly ever fight and we are pretty much together 24/7 (we also work together). We laugh at the same things, we know what the other is thinking or about to say. heck, we don't even have to say anything and we will know what they are thinking about.

its important i think to have that soul feeling because meeting her, and being able to be around her made my life complete (so far).

I agree completely with Jenny.

I think there are diff loves for diff points in your life, different catalysts for differnt things you nee din your life at the time.

I do believe though that everyone has someone and will find them. I really believe that. I don't know if it's one person, or if there's a possibility with many, but I do feel like everyone's gonna find true love.

My question though, in my poll, is ther a difference between choice 2 and choice 3? if so, what?

I have a friend who really feels like he'll never find someone. He's been engaged befoe, but it wasn't 'right.' I just want him to find someone.

there is just the right person for everyone, they are out there waiting to be found.
My husband is my soulmate, I truly believe that. he is like part of me, if he is not here I don't have a life.

I do believe that everyone has a soulmate and I do believe that you at one point in your life will have a run in with that person but I don't believe that we all end up with our soulmates.

i believe in destiny, but not 'soul mates'. if someone asked if my DH was my soul mate, i would probably just say yes, just to avoid explaining my theory on the topic, but i think its just a social term to describe an extreme feeling. i do think that people are brought together for a reason, but i dont use the term soul mate

I believe that souls travel together, so in a sense, I guess I believe we have many soulmates. As for 'the one' I also believe in destiny. If two people are meant to be together they will find each other, but I don't necessarily think it means their souls have met before.

Does that make sense?

I agree - I think that different people can make us whole in different ways and that every person has more than 1 soul mate.

I believe so. But I believe that a soul mate does not necessarily have to be someone of the opposite sex. For example, my best friend and I have known eachother since we were 6 (we're both in our mid 30's now). I believe we are soul mates. We've lived states apart from eachother since we were in the 5th grade and have managed to keep the bond that we share throughout all these years. I think that's rather special and rare.

I do believe DH is my soul mate, in that he is definately another part of me, and to sound cliche (which I hate! ) he really does complete me.
