just an observation, i have been to the floral terrace before and because the dance floor is raised up dont you think that the high center pieces might get in the way of people looking at the dance floor. since there will be so many tables?????

You make a great point...That is why I opted for the low centerpieces...I didn't want any obstructed views

Hmmm...maybe that's what FH meant when he was talking about it looking like a jungle?! It's a good point.

I need to go look at their Candelabras and place one on the table and make a decision. I felt that since they are high up, that they don't distract from the table below, but didn't think if they would block the dance floor.... This is really why I am glad I am going to FT on Monday. I'll never make a decision unless I personally see it.

The only thing is that re: cost --- if I do the low CP's and add tapers, it'll cost the same as using the FT's candelabras and putting flowers on them. And since I like high..... (and don't want to do 1/2 and 1/2!).

Hey Kissy - I got to find that pic you took from the FT with the candelabra. I think it's in our thread!

What if you did the low centerpieces with votives??? What if you buy the candles wholesale??? Sometimes it is better to get them yourself rather then the florist!!!

I really like the low CPs. I think they make the room look really elegant and classy. It also gives the room a more intimate feeling.

Just a big thanks....

I'll be thinking about this weekend and then make my decsion once I see the candelabras and sit in one of the chairs and imagine 350 people squeezing by!!!!!!

and i promise that i won't be OCD on anything else.... hehehehe
