PS I noticed in the past, as far back as 2004 Brides have been asking for a 'Yard Sale', 'Sale' Board...but it has yet to become available for us. Anybody know WHY?

it definitely is a great idea in theory---but i don't think LIW would ever do it. you'd have too many outside people creating accounts to try and sell things on here---and actual vendors who pay advertising fees might not appreciate it.
this topic has been brough up a bunch of times on here--and its never happened yet!

What about making it a members-only forum - like on LIF?
Sure - it's not the most failproof way but it would cut down on at least some posers...

I dont see it happening as great of an idea as it is.
The vendors that are on the vendor boards pay to have their ads up~I am POSITIVE a few of them would throw a fit if we had an added forum just for that.
Unfortunately MJ is right, randoms would be signing up left and right just to sell stuff. Remember-membership is free![]()

I absolutely agree with you!
But after some thought wouldn't it be aweful if vendors came on here, posed as brides, and used us to sell their overpriced junk?
Maybe there should be some restriction to posting on the For Sale Forum.
