POLL-Girls! I need your proofreading expertise please!
Ok, here is a sample of my invite wording... im about to order it (i have been attempting to do this for months now)... can you all give it a second look to make sure there are no typos and that i did everything right??
also... the bottom left corner... which line should i have first black tie optional or reception following, and did i word this correctly??
thanks soooooo much!! i truly appreciate any help, especially since FH wont even move his eyes off the hockey & baseball game long enough to even glance at the paper!

If your ceremony is called for 6 in the evening at a country club, then it would be assumed that the reception is immediately to follow. In which case you really do not need the reception line at all - just the 'black tie optional'. Thats how we did it. We are having our ceremony and reception at the same place at 7pm. Judging by the hour of your wedding and the fact that it isnt called for at a church or temple, they will know that the reception is right afterwards.
ETA:
If you really want to put that the recption is to follow, I would put 'Reception to follow' instead of what you have.

My pleasure. I would also put 'six o'clock in the evening' as well. It is much more formal.

hmm... another thought... do you think people will be smart enough to figure out that the ceremony starts at 6, and not the reception, since there wont be an extra reception card... should i change the words 'at their marriage' to 'as they exchange wedding vows'??? am i reading too much into this??? i have been staring at this damn thing all night!!

One other thing, and this is (I am finding) a matter of prefrence...
making the 'T' in the year a lower case. Even though it does start the line, the only words to be capitalized are Names, Places, Day and Month.
two thousand and six

i like it better with the lower case t... thanks for the suggestion... it is funny how half the invites in the catalog do have it capitalized, and half of them dont! The 't' in together should be capitalized though right?? since it is starting the invite??

This is a matter of prefrence too. It's all how YOU (and FH) want it.

Yes I think people will be smart enough to figure it out. I have been to more weddings at Temples or Country Clubs than churches where the ceremony and reception are at the same place. There was not an additional reception card especially when the reception immediately follows in the same place. If you were getting married at a church and the reception immediately followed at a DIFFERENT location, THEN you would include a reception card OR you would extend the wording on the invitation to indicate as such. I may be wrong, but church ceremonies don't usually start as late as 6 do they?
