Poll: Help me decide which officiants to meet with

I need your help picking out officiants to meet with. I already have 2 definates that I plan to see but I would like a 3rd or possibly a 4th to see before I make up my mind. Also if you have any information including pricing, reviews or advice I would love to hear it. Thanks!!!

Angela Heil did our wedding--and she was a DOLL to work with. she really really cared about making sure the ceremony was personalized for us and we received many compliments on it

Well, you might wanna meet all of them. You cannot judge by what others say (no offense to you girls) but 'the chemistry' between your officiant and you has to be fine.
You should invest the time to talk to them all in person.

Hi,

We booked Pastor Mike. He's a very down to earth guy and made us feel comfortable. He gave us a whole packet to look through to decide which readings, vows, etc. we want. Don't have price information with me but he is very reasonable.

If I meet with all of them, it will be 7 officiants A lot of them are in Suffolk too and I live in Queens. I think my FH will go nuts....He wanted to kill me after we looked at 30 catering halls. He made me promise to narrow our other vendor appointments to 4 per service.

The best would be to see them in action, how they perform a ceremony.
That is how we found our officiant. She married two friends of ours, and we liked the way she conducted the service. Two other weddings we went to also had officients that we did not like, one was too new agey for us, and the other was too loud and tried to be funny. Didn't work.

If you cannot see them in action, then definitely meet with each of them. You need to see and feel how they interact with you, if they listen to what you want instead of 'this is how I do it. '

Pastor April makes me cry!!! We're on the 7th version of our ceremony...and wow...

She meets with you and then writes your ceremony a few days later (while it's still all new in her mind). She then sends you the doc & you adjust what you like/don't like, etc...and go back and forth...

She's just so wonderful & warm and we loved her from the very first email...seriously. We got email from someone else and it was kinda coldish....but Aprils - i showed FH and he said he liked her vibe... We met her and told her point blank that we loved her & she was hired.

She is a vendor on here - Church of the Ancient Ways.
