i think the friday after because some peopel may be traveling ( that is the most expensive and highest travel day of the year) and not everyone has off on wednesday so if they cant get out early to work they might not make it... and a lot of people spend thanksgiving eve with their families for the holidays... definatly do the Friday

i chose the Friday because of how many people might not make the wedding on a Wednesday because they can't make it out in time, the traffic will be brutal (the traffic will be brutal on Friday too, but at least they have more time to play in it!).

I know money is a huge factor, but is it more important to you to have everyone who you care about see you on y our big day.. and just being honest here.. people might be annoyed that they have to go to a wedding in the middle of the week, right before a huge travel holiday..
Also for your sanity it might be better to do it friday cause you will have the whole weekend to relax as opposed to getting married and the next day have another huge dinner with the fam...
AND (haha) are you getting anything different with the menus, or maybe a different room thats better on Fri as opposed to Wed? those are all things you should way out too

well i think you should ask yourself if you feel disappointed if less ppl make it to your ceremony. if you don't mind that it might be harder for people to come on wednesday, then it's definitely worht saving the money. if you will be upset that a lot of people won't watch you and FH exchange your vows, then maybe you should wait til Friday.

my friend got married on the wed. before thanksgiving and it was very nice. it was a great start to the holiday. plus a lot of jobs either give you off that wed. or let you leave early. a lot of people made it to the wedding. i thought it was a great day.

I would personally lean towards wednesday. My reasoning may be stupid but the friday after is one of the biggest shopping days of the year. The only concern I would have is that people will be getting up early (especially those with kids) to hit the sales that they might be tired later on that they might leave early. Alot of companies let there workers leave early the day before a holiday so it might not be that bad for people to make it to the ceremony. All in all I would say do what feels best. If you are trying to keep the cost low and the difference in price will help then go with wednesday. The money you save by chosing wed you may be able to put towards flowers, or favors, of photos.

I still think Friday for the date but its all how good your feeling about doing it on wed as oppsed to friday

I would say the Friday after because I honestly I would not want to go to a wedding the day before because then you have no time to cook and prepare for Thanksgiving. Especially being a teacher, you need that night before to get the house and everything ready. But just my opinion.

It depends on your money situation. I'm sure the people that u r close 2 will come to see u married no matter wat day. However, if the money issue is not that big of a problem, u should def do fri.

Ok I was thinking of this when we were first trying to pick a date. How do you think your families would be about this? That was my question I had to ask, also your out of towners.
I really wanted the Friday after but, then someone on here mentioned that Wed. because it is even cheaper. So with that I had to way the pros and cons. I think that is something you should do. After everything I did FH didnt want either one![]()
