Poll: How involved in wedding planning is your FH?

Poll: How involved in wedding planning is your FH?

FH and I are discussing whether or not guys actually enjoy wedding planning, or whether or not they need to be involved in all aspects. Please help me prove him wrong!

Vin has his say here n there but for the most part, when i ask his opinion, he says 'whatever you like/want' I want an opinion damnit.. thats what i want

He will go with me to see vendors but he agress with everything i pick.....so he really is no help

He tried, but he was so bored meeting with vendors. He just told me to make all the decisions now.

FH is pretty good...he comes with me to almost all of the venders but he likes whatever I like....I think he says yes to anything to make me happy and get it over with quickly otherwise I would debate over it forever!

jOE IS VERY INVOLVED & VERY HELPFUL WITH ALL OF THE PLANNING. IM LUCKY! ITS KIND OF FUNNY BECAUSE HE WILL SAY WHAT IM THINKING & VICE VERSA. ITS GREAT TO HAVE THAT HELPING HAND WITH VENDORS. HE IS THE BEST I LUVS HIM!

I am very lucky because my FH is really creative and giving me great ideas... I just wish he wasn't so busy- now that softball season is here... (he's a Varsity coach) I've lost my fellow planner for a few months. My MOH is great too though so I think I'm gonna start depending on my girls-

I have to say though, having an artist as an FH pays off... he's designing invites and already did the save the date which came out amazing- I'm gonna post it one of these days.

FH has been pretty involved. We haven't planned much (just church, RH, and photo/video), but he was with me for the majority of the RHs I checked out. He came to a showcase with me. He agreed on the photo/video. He gives me his input and ocassionally will be more concerned about money than anything else. I can get a little carried away with all my ideas and what we should have. He's more realistic and thinks rather than splurging on this, we could put money towards that. He's trying his best even with living out of state. He doesn't mind if I book a vendor without him present but I wouldn't do it without his ok. I did ask him 'What is something that YOU want for our wedding?' and his response was that he'd like a Cadillac limo (he's very much into cars). So I am going to do my best to grant him his wish.

I think once we get into colors, flowers, favors and all of those things, he may just say 'do what you want'. We'll see. But so far I think the planning has been 50-50

FH wanted to be involved in the RH planning. When I wanted to look at photographers, he was totally not into it, so I did that with my parents. He said that I should plan the flowers, photo, music, etc. I think he will want to have some say in our officiant.

FH has gone with me to see all the vendors. Of course I do all the research first on LIW. We make all the decisions together. The only things he hasn't gone to with me were the RH showcases. But I always went with my other engaged friends so I prefered that. We all got drunk together and partied at showcases

This is a tricky one... I havent done so much until recently...
Im doing photogs alone now bc he is 'busy with work' ... Imiss him at the appointments though and I start thinking wow I had a long day too... why am I not in company of FH...ya know...

BUT.. he trusts my style he says... and I do run things by him in which he usually agrees but worries about cost of things.
HOnestly, I am in between my feelings about this...

fh is totally involved in everything...alittle too involved lol...i have to beg him NOT to be sooo involved

Fh only cares about the bottom line cost and making sure I stay on budget. Other than that he could care less.

he is ok with it is just do what i have to and just let him know when we have appts and just make sure he shows up lol
