I bought mine in July 03 for my November 04 wedding. it will take about 10 months to come in so hopefully it will get here by May 04.

ETA: It's here already!!!!

You guys are really scaring me! We just got engaged Sept. 20 and are planning a Feb. 21, 2004 wedding. I'm not sure how I'll find something.

Oh, well, I guess there are always sample sales, David's Bridal and, my personal fave--Ebay!! Plus, I saw a post from one bride who bought her dress on bridesave.com. Checked it out and it's a pretty cool site.

I'm going shopping for a dress on Monday, so hopefully I'll find a style that I like and I can find something similar one of these ways

My FSIL planned her wedding in 5 months! I can say that when she went looking for dresses the salespeople panicked because it was short notice! But they can put a rush on it for an extra fee...of course!
Dont worry I am sure you will find your dress but if it were me I would start looking soon just because you never know how long it will take to find!

we are getting married in june and I ordered my dress in september!

I went looking about a year prior because everyone I wanted to be with me when I bought was around. If I would have waited not everyone would have been able to share that special day with me.

7 months, and it will cme in just in time, too.... I do not reccommend that anyone wait to buy the dress if they can help it (We had a short engagement so I had no choice...) too much stress!

everyone seems so prepared - i ordered min in march for my november wedding....and its here, i've been fitted once and am going again in 2 weeks....
