I read somewhere that shorter girls shouldn't get a fingertip length veil b/c it would make them look shorter. I wanted fingertip anyway but it turns out that length will take away from my gown so elbow length it is! I will also have a cathedral for the ceremony.

Mine is a combo - the chapel length veil will tear off for the reception because I dont want ppl stepping on it all night long

mine is elbow length -- but the blusher part isn't long enough so now i don't know what to do. (actually considering not wearing one because everytime i put it over my face it annoys the heck out of me!!! its really annoying!)

Mine was a bit longer than fingertip, but I didn't think it made me look shorter (and I'm pretty short!)

3-tiered fingertip length. First tier is my blusher, and after the ceremony, the bottom two layers are being removed. I went for 3 layers b/c i'm wearing a strapless dress in a synagogue and wanted to be at least a little modest in covering my shoulders.

Mine is wrist length. I didn't want anything too long because I'm short and didn't want to be overpowered by my veil. I also didn't want it too short because my dress has a corset back, and I wanted it longer than the end of the lacing. Wrist length is perfect for me!

Mine is 3 1/2 yards which is longer than cathedral. I think they call it Royal Cathedral.
