Just curious. When are you planning on starting a family?

Yeah I know. I want to enjoy being married first because once you have a kid...you have them forever.

we want to travel a little before we have kids and save up some money to buy a new home. right now our house is 2 bedroom ONE bathroom, and we have already outgrown it. definetely want to upgrade once we decide to have children, just need to save our money first.

That is so smart. Now is the perfect time to buy or upgrade. We were originally going to get married this past July 4th (which is our dating anniversary), but our parents convinced us to push the wedding back so we could save more $$ and get a house.

first year for us. cant wait for the baby and so is FH.
never can have enough money, so for me that isn't the main concern. plus we're too old to wait around, I don't want to be an old mom

My FH and I decided we are going to wait at least 4 years....we want to be comfortable and 'be married' for a while. Between us we have 7 nieces and nephews....the g-parents have enough right noW!

We're waiting awhile, if we even decide to have any.
We don't live together and won't be moving in together until we're married, so we want to be able to enjoy the 'we're really married!!!!' feeling for awhile.
We also want to do a good deal of international travel, and I'm very hellbent on taking part in some volun-tourism trips before settling down and popping out any rugrats.
Again, if we do. That's a big 'if'.

hopefully within the first year that would be perfect. since ill be 30 the 2nd year of marriage.

We'll be waiting awhile... I'll just be starting my PhD + we want to just have some time together alone for a couple of years. I want my first by 29/30 so I have 6/7 years.

We want to wait a while. Maybe after 3 years. I'll be just 21 when I get married and he'll be 23 so we want to save money first ,get a house and enjoy alone time before we have kids.

Honestly, not 100% sure....so I just voted waiting a while. Maybe 2 years...maybe 4. It depends on our situation at the time.

around 2 years from when we get married. I want to get a house first and enjoy that. My friend has twins and she said it is never the perfect time and I agree... I just don't want to move pregnant or with babies. But I have the itch ... i really want to have a family sooner than later.
