I have one friend who's engaged, but it's been a really quiet process and no one even know for 6 months b/c it was difficult with some of her family members because he's not jewish. Also, he's from another country, so they're working on his visa right now, not the wedding. I don't think I'll be in her BP. When I mentioned going to her wedding (I don't like to assume, but this is one of my best friends from HS) she said she wasn't sure if she could invite all of us b/c she didn't know how big her wedding would be. But we'll see how it all pans out.
Another friend of mine from college..this is sad. The last time I saw him ( a few months ago) he was grinning from ear to ear saying he was planning to propose to his gf of many years, yesterday he told me she broke up with him.

3 of my friends are engaged, I'm in one BP and none of them are LIW brides (one is in Philly, another is in Boston and I think the last one is sometimes a lurker here).
FH has 2 engaged friends are not in either BP.

Here is a funny one. I've NEVER been to a wedding in my whole life. My wedding will be the first wedding I'll ever attend. When my fiance and I first got engaged, we were the only two in our circle of friends and family. But since we've announced it, my cousin eloped, my brother has gotten engaged (his wedding will be the year after mine,) and now our two closes friends are talking about getting married. Which is really annoying because I wanted so badly to attend a wedding before I got married.

Most of my friemds are already married. In the last few years we have had at least 3 -5 weddings a year in our group AN dwe are one of the last to get hitched... But then my brother is engaged now too.

Three very good friends of mine are engaged. I'm in two of the 3's bridal parties. The third friend and I recently became very close, and our bridal parties were already set and dresses ordered, but that's OK. We'll still be there at each other's wedding and that's all that matters. I'll just have my photographers take lots of extra pictures of her... LOL

I have five friends who are engaged. Until 3 weeks ago, I had 6 engaged friends. I was in the bridal party for my friend's wedding 3 weeks ago, and she will be in mine 3 months from now.
