I'm freaking out b/c I don't think anyone will buy my china - it's $109 per setting, and I don't know if I should change it to something cheaper.

I made sure that my china was less than $100 per place setting because I really wanted to get it and I knew that of my guests that would purchase china, not many of them would be willing to spend more than $100 on my gift. I actually received most of it after my wedding from guests who couldn't attend.
I don't think you have to worry, $109 is not at all unreasonable for china.

I think it a reasonable price and remember at some stores they will be able to use coupons and wait for sales...109 is what i think mine costs too- it changes due to sales ... the real price is like 159 but i have never seen it for that

I didn't even register for a full set! I mixed and matched pieces from different patterns, so I don't know what hodge podge I'm getting. anyway, who cares. you like it, and that's what counts. I am sure you have people that will buy them for you...
your mom is so crazy, she might even buy you the WHOLE THING! or maybe your 'cool' aunt! LOL

Don't worry about the cost. $109 is totally reasonable. Also, definitely register for 12. If you don't get all 12 by your wedding, you can always complete your registry afterwards using the 10% discount that places like fortunoffs and BBB offer. The pattern I really liked was $80, and I wasn't sure how many place settings people would buy. I registered for my china at BBB so based on their recommendation, I registered for 14 place settings. I ended up getting them all. You never know how generous people will be.

Mine is pretty $$ but i figure people can chip in for them and when they are on sale it is a great deal!!! so when your china is on sale (if you do macys, seems like all if always on sale) it will be more reasonable.. i think that price is fine!!! i think it is average
