Poll: If it were you what would you pick

If you were a guest coming to LI for a wedding and staying at the Wyndam Wind Watch and had to go to a rehearsal dinner on the fourth of July would you rather go to Port Jeff for dinner at a place with a view of fireworks or to a nice restaurant that is much closer to the hotel but no fireworks? By the way, the rehearsal will be in Selden. I'm torn.

I would rather stay closer to the hotel - but, can you go to a beach nearby or something like that to watch fireworks??

If you are worried about people driving so far, you could have a shuttle taking everyone from the hotel to the rehearsal dinner, I think people would enjoy Port Jeff and fireworks. It will be a fun relaxing night before your big day!

I live in Selden and Port Jeff isn't really that far from Selden, so if they have to go all they way to Selden anyway then just go for the Port Jeff Dinner.

No doubt - fireworks! In fact, I think I would be a little miffed if I went to an RD on July 4th and the bride & groom didn't have any July 4th activities planned.

You are one of the few lucky brides that get fireworks in honor of your wedding - take advantage. They cost at least $40K ;) Something for free :)

I would prefer the fireworks as a guest and as a bride.... as i guest i would totally appreciate arranged transportation, especially if alcohol is involved.
